Biography
FINN BO GEORGE
I’m Finn Bo George – Swiss-British singer, songwriter and passionate musician. Born in London, I now live in Bern but have a close relationship with my home town of Thun in Switzerland. I’m a trained ‘EFZ Children’s Specialist Supervisor’ and worked for a year in my profession in my hometown of Thun (BE) before I took the plunge into my musical career in July 2025. Today I can concentrate fully on my musical career.
After my piano training at the music school Konservatorium Bern and singing lessons with Andreas Lareida, I’m currently continuing my training with English baritone Robin Adams in Bern. In January 2026, I completed my training as a ‘Youth and Music Leader’ at the Federal Office of Culture.
Since my first appearance on SRF Zambo in 2017, the stage has been my home. Media features, original songs like Realise, Lights Out, and Cousin (2023), „Story“ (2017) and live performances at young talent platforms – including the Badesee Festival (Jungfrau Zeitung, 2023) – have shaped my journey so far.
My debut album ‘From Outer Space’ was recorded in August 2025 at Templestudio Freiburg i. B. (Baden, Germany) and released with a concert in the Great Hall of the Bern Conservatory on 20 November 2025. It is a very personal project that captures my musical journey over the last few years. I’m particularly pleased that my cousin Tom Swirles, who studies percussion in Manchester, accompanies myself on drums in my self-composed and written songs and is a permanent member of FINN BO GEORGE’s band.
